How we found chose our topic
We choose our topic by thinking about what we learned previously in 6th grade and something that we enjoyed. We came up with the Holocaust because we were interested in learning about it. We also wanted to learn more about it after we learned about. Not only did we want to know about the information from the text book but we wanted to know about additional facts.
How we conducted our research
First of all, we went to the public library and researched things about the holocaust and took notes. We went around the library looking for books about the Holocaust, and came across a few books which we checked out. We went home and made a whole bunch of note cards to help us summarize what we would write on our website. Next, we printed out every source we thought we needed and highlighted important information.
How we conducted our website
First, we took notes and summarized everything onto note cards. Than we outlined everything we needed onto a sheet of paper and typed it into the website. We edited everything on the website and made sure that everything was correct and had no errors. We then took it to our parents and had them double check that it was correct and made sure it had no spelling or grammar errors.
How our project relates to the theme
Our project relates to the theme because after all, it is a major impact in history, killing 6 million Jews and having them kept in concentration camps. It is a horrible thing that has impacted our history. If the holocaust hadn't happened people wouldn't be as terrified as they were today. [303 words]
